The new owners of The Mount School were recently announced.
It has been confirmed that Chris and Natalie Sellers, who already own Kip McGrath Limited based in Halifax, have clinched a deal to buy The Mount School, in Huddersfield.
The family already have a close connection to the school, with both their daughters attending.
Chris Sellers, director of The Mount said: "We are delighted to have been able to secure the future of the school. After a significant investment in both time and finance over the past couple of months, the school is now going from strength to strength. We've had such amazing feedback from the children, parents and staff regarding the developments that took place over the summer break too. It's really made it all worthwhile to see the school now beginning to really flourish again."
The Mount School was established in 1950 and has a very special place in the hearts of many in the local community.
Emma Spragg, who led the Ramsdens team commented: “ It has been a delight to be involved in this transaction, and to assist Chris and his wife to purchase such a prestigious local school and prevent it from closing.”
