Our health is something that is always on our minds, and we are regularly reminded about the importance of a healthy diet, regular exercise and a good night’s sleep. With health charities doing their bit to raise awareness of particular illnesses, the need to keep an eye out for worrying symptoms is drilled into us more than ever before.
1st April signalled the launch of Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, and while campaigns such as these do a great job of getting an important message across to the unaware, there are still issues within the medical profession that mean some symptoms could still be missed - and it could be costing lives.
