This week we are supporting the 15th International Brain Tumour Awareness Week.
The focus is to encourage people to organise their own fundraising activities and donate to local or national brain tumour support charities.
A brain tumour is a growth of cells which abnormally multiply in the brain. There are many symptoms including impaired vision, sickness, memory problems and persistent headaches.
Over 12,000 people are diagnosed each year with a primary brain tumour, including 500 children and young people. That's a staggering 33 people every day.
With brain tumours being the biggest cancer killer of those under 40, all funds raised will be vital in providing support to those living with brain tumours and their families.
From our offices across Yorkshire, our specialist medical negligence solicitors have helped thousands of people claim compensation. Contact us today by calling 01484 821 500, or fill out our online enquiry form and a member of the team will be in touch at a convenient time for you.
