Jodie Wielgus, Partner in our Private Client team, has featured on Care Choices, where she has given the ten most common mistakes to avoid when writing a will.
If you’re writing one for the first time, it can be easy to neglect key details, having a negative consequence for your family later down the line.
The mistakes can include; leaving out assets, being too specific in describing your assets, forgetting to properly cater for step children, failing to consider what will happen if your beneficiaries die before you and using an invalid witness.
For more information on how to avoid these mistakes and other common mistakes to avoid, read Jodie’s full blog on Care Choices here.
