Ramsdens Solicitors are hosting the first in a new series of Business Matters seminars on Tuesday 1 October, in conjunction with MFL Professional specialist insurance brokers. The seminar aims to deliver new knowledge, expertise and connections which will help to guide SME business owners and Directors through their business journey. The focus of this seminar will be the increasing trend of the courts to look beyond the limitation of liability in business to hold Directors personally liable for their actions.
Company Directors have significant legal responsibilities and liabilities and, with today’s increasingly rigorous regulatory environment, it is critical to maintain strict levels of compliance and be aware of relevant regulation changes and case law developments in order to mitigate corporate and personal risk.
David Bradley, Chairman and Head of Business Legal Services at Ramsdens comments: “This seminar will provide essential information to Directors to identify risk and in so doing create the freedom to focus on opportunities, the real life blood of a business.”
The free seminar will be held at The Holiday Inn, Brighouse on Tuesday 1 October.
Registration will be from 8:30am, where breakfast will be available. The seminar will begin at 9am and is to be followed by a discussion and Q&A session, with an anticipated finish time of 10:30am.
