Leading law firm, Ramsdens Solicitors are pleased to welcome six new trainee Solicitors onto the firms training scheme. Alastair James, Eve Sellens, Holly Dale, Nicole Natur, Rebecca Gerrard and Thomas Jagger embark upon their two-year contracts, starting this September, working across all 14 offices.
Natalie Lang, Trainee Solicitor mentor for the firm commented: “At Ramsdens we firmly believe our people are our greatest assets and this is reflected in the time and care we invest in our trainees. Career development is important to us and where possible we aim to tailor the training provided, to reflect the interests and ambitions of our candidates, to help develop them into the lawyers they aspire to be.”
Thomas Jagger commented: “I have been with Ramsdens for just under 2 years, after joining as a Junior Legal Assistant in October 2016. I have worked in the Litigation Department since starting my employment. I am now looking forward to expanding my knowledge by working in different departments across our offices and working with different teams. I am expecting the Trainee role to be varied and challenging but I am excited to learn a great deal over the next 2 years and to further my legal career.”
Nicole Natur added: “I was so excited to be offered a place on the Ramsdens training scheme. I expect the next two years will be both challenging and stimulating and I will have various opportunities to develop and refine my skillset. I am looking forward to establishing myself as a professional and experiencing a variety of new areas in law.”
Eve Sellens commented: “I have been working at Ramsdens for a number of years now, having started as a summer temp during my degree. I am looking forward to the high level of responsibility that comes with being a trainee, starting with running my own case load in residential property. Trainees at Ramsdens are given a very active role within the firm and I am particularly keen to participate more heavily in business development and charity.”
Paul Joyce, Managing Partner at Ramsdens concluded: “I’d like to congratulate our future trainees, this is a significant milestone for them in their careers and we wish them all the success. We heavily invest in our trainees, giving them the opportunity to build a long term career at our firm, which is reflected in the number of former trainees we have retained over the years, many of which now hold senior positions.”
