Since our first virtual MYNetwork back in April, the online monthly networking platform has gone from strength to strength, with attendee numbers steadily rising each month as we continue to navigate through social restrictions.
The fifth of our monthly meet-ups, held on Wednesday 19 August, saw guests tune in to Zoom, including delegates from Newbury, Rochdale, Sydney, London, Nepal, Ukraine and Brisbane!
Janet Bebb, Owner of Social Progress and host of the online MYNetwork events commented: "August saw us running the fifth MYNetwork online and we were amazed but also delighted to see businesses joining us from all around the world. From London to Brisbane, Nepal to Ukraine and other places too. We had an insolvency practitioner, an IT student, Life Coach and a Technology Solutions provider to name a few."
Adapting to demand, this month’s event also saw the introduction of a new format, with attendees being put into different break-out rooms so they could chat with other delegates in a more intimate and personal setting.
Sinead Sopala, Director of Marketing at Ramsdens Solicitors said: "Staying connected is more important than ever and I am incredibly proud that we've been able to continue to provide a forum for businesses to get together, share and connect throughout Covid-19. As virtual MYnetwork’ing appears to be our ‘new normal’ for now….we have definitely embraced and enjoyed being able to keep making connections."
Andy Turner, Managing Partner at First Choice Recruitment and supporting Partner at MYNetwork said: “It was great to see so many people, so many companies from such a diverse range of industries and locations attend this morning’s MyNetwork Zoom meeting. I especially enjoyed the break-out rooms and the opportunity to speak to a smaller group of businesses directly – when’s the next one?!”
Our next Virtual MYNetwork will be held on Wednesday 16 September, 10 -11:00 am.
