MYnetwork is a networking group with a difference…..it started life online on LinkedIn and now boast two monthly meetups in Wakefield an Huddersfield.
The events are free, no fees, no agenda…just businesses supporting each other.
MYnetwork’s latest partner is the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Diane Earles, Regional Manager at CIM also comments: “Partnering with this network will not only provide opportunities for our members but also help us spread the word of professional marketing to the wider business community.”
Sinéad Sopala, owner of the group and Director of Marketing at Ramsdens comments: “MYnetwork is as much about creating a platform to bring local businesses together as it is about bringing business into our communities. The partnership with the CIM will give MYnetwork an even bigger reach across Mid Yorkshire.
Another update with MYnetwork is the creation of the subgroup, MYstudentNetwork.
Over the last few months lots of local university students have been tapping into LinkedIn and using it to engage with local businesses.....and it is these very students that are the next generation of business owners and entrepreneurs, so it's vital we as a local business community involve them and LinkedIn is giving us the virtual platform to do this."
