On Wednesday 20 October our Ramsdens football team participated in the One In Million 5-a-side football tournament, raising money to support Bradford’s children and young people.
One In A Million are a Bradford based charity that engages predominantly with disadvantaged children and young people, aged between 5-19 years old. Through sports, the arts and enterprise themed programmes, the charity deliver formal and informal education to break cycles of deprivation over their young lives.
The tournament, which was sponsored by Schofield Sweeney, saw #teamRamsdens come out in second place, losing only to the team of ex-professional Bradford City players in the final.
The team played fantastically and held themselves to the highest standard throughout. Thanks to Alastair James, Jordon Kellett, Rhys Craddock, Ethan Cartman, Andrew Holden and Aamir Arif for playing.
