The impact of Covid-19 has taught us a lot throughout the last 18 months, particularly regarding the importance of promoting wellbeing and protecting our mental health. However, how often do you stop to think about others? This is the focus of APIL’s Injury Prevention Week 2021.
The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) is a not-for-profit organisation which looks to provide representation for injured people. Injury Prevention Week is an annual event, expanded from the previous awareness day, which aims to raise public awareness about preventing accidents.
Recent YouGov research shows that the majority of people do not consider the safety of others. With hundreds of thousands of compensation claims being registered each year, APIL calls for each of us to play our part in preventing these needless accidents and injuries.
By using common sense and implementing the caring instincts we have nurtured throughout lockdown into the future, we can all get involved in APIL’s mission. Join our team in showing our support on social media using the hashtag #IPWeek2021 and remember to tweet us at @RamsdensPI.
Even where we try to avoid needless injuries, accidents do still happen. If you or a loved one have been injured in an accident, we are here to help. At Ramsdens Solicitors we have an experienced and dedicated Personal Injury team who can help you claim compensation and get you the support you deserve. To discuss a potential claim further you can call us on 01484 821 500, or submit your claim onlineand we will contact you at your convenience.
