Ramsdens Solicitors are delighted to announce that Robyn Mayoh has been appointed as an Accredited Legal Representative under the Law Society’s Mental Capacity (Welfare) Accreditation Scheme. This means that Robyn can be appointed by the Court of Protection to act on behalf of vulnerable people without the need for a litigation friend.
In order to qualify for the scheme, Robyn was required to demonstrate that she has a significant experience in Mental Capacity Law and representing vulnerable people in Court of Protection welfare proceedings. The scheme has only been running since late 2017 and Robyn is one of only 10 people in Yorkshire who currently hold Accredited Legal Representative Status.
If you have any questions about Mental Capacity Law, or representing vulnerable people in the Court of Protection please contact Robyn or another member of the Court of Protection team on 0344 326 0049.
