Christmas is an important time of the year to help others and across our business our staff have been helping and supporting local, regional and national charities through our #Ramsdens12Days of charity at Christmas that ran from the 1st December to the 12th.
Paul Joyce, Managing Partner at Ramsdens commented: “After a tough year I have been overcome by the dedication and willingness shown by our staff towards the various charities we have supported through our 12 days campaign.”
On day one, our Holmfirth office sponsored town decorations and also had a food collection for the Holme Valley Food Bank.
On day two, our Marketing department donated to the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust virtual Christmas gift tree campaign, providing gifts to young cancer patients.
On day three, our Trainees volunteered at the Yorkshire Children’s Centre’s annual Christmas Mingle, providing treats and cheer to friends and volunteers of the charity.
On day four, our Holmfirth office participated in the Holmfirth & Honley Elf Trail, helping to raise funds for their local food banks as well as bring cheer to the local community. Make sure to check out the trail and our cheeky elves all throughout December.
On day five, our Wakefield office collected gifts & Winter warmers for St. Michael's Welcome Centre & Wakefield Council, in their secret Santa gift campaign.
On day six, our Mirfield office collected festive gifts and treats for Northorpe Hall Child & Family.
On day seven, our Halifax office filled a large number of shoeboxes full of gifts and goodies to send to the Halifax Rotary Club shoebox appeal.
On day eight, our Leeds office collected toiletries and toys for Inspire North, going towards helping families in need this Christmas.
On day nine, our team in York collected Christmas gifts to donate to the York Refuge.
On day ten, staff from across our firm wore their Christmas jumpers in aid of Save the Children.
On day eleven, Louise Blackwell in our Halifax office supported Missing Peace Wellbeing + Support, of which she is Group Facilitator, by pledging to help the charity to provide Christmas dinners to those that would either be alone or disadvantaged at Christmas.
One day twelve, our staff participated in Give a Few Words Letters for Christmas campaign, writing letters to those in need across the local community.
