The remaining temporary insolvency measures imposed by the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 expire today (31 March 2022).
The minimum petition amount of £10,000 ends, and petitions can be based on a statutory demand relating to a debt of at least £750. It will no longer be necessary to serve a Schedule 10 notice 21 days before a winding up petition.
There are still restrictions on winding up petitions and bankruptcy petitions relating to some covid-related arrears of rent, under the Commercial Rent (Coronavirus) Act 2022.
