On Wednesday 20 October our Ramsdens football team participated in the One In Million 5-a-side football tournament, raising money to support Bradford’s children and young people.

Your ability to have a positive impact on someone’s life does not have to be limited to your lifetime. This year we are supporting ‘remember a charity in your Will’ week to help raise awareness and highlight the importance of leaving a gift to charity in your Will.

As we acknowledge International Day of Charity on 5th September, it is important to raise awareness of the importance of volunteering and philanthropic activities. This day was established to mobilise and sensitise individuals across the globe to humanitarian crises and human suffering - in addition to the efforts of charitable organisations and individuals.

On Thursday 8 July our team of cyclists took on the 100 mile route across our 14 offices, starting at York at 6 am and finishing at the Ramsden Street office in Huddersfield at 7:30 pm, in aid of the Yorkshire Children’s Centre.

This summer our Contentious Probate team will be taking on the one million steps over three months challenge – that’s about 10,000 steps a day.

Loneliness Awareness Week will take place from 14th to 18th June. The awareness week is hosted by Marmalade Trust who are a loneliness charity whose goal is to build greater awareness and acceptance of loneliness. The purpose of the awareness week is to get people talking to help ourselves and others manage the feeling of loneliness.

Child Safety Week is organised by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) to raise awareness of the risks of child accidents and how they can be prevented. This year, the theme is ‘share because you care’, focusing on how sharing safety knowledge saves lives.

This year, we will be supporting Carers Week 2021 which runs from Monday 7th June until Sunday 13th June. Carers Week is an annual campaign designed to raise awareness and recognition of the hard work that carers, both paid and non-paid do all year round.
