On the 30th April 2019, the House of Commons Home affairs Committee published the Government response to the committee’s report on domestic abuse.

In February 2018, the Office of National Statistics estimated that in 12 months to the end of March 2017, more than 443,000 women experienced at least one form of sexual assault; involving indecent exposure or unwanted touching.

West Yorkshire Police is launching a new campaign which was announced on the 24th January 2019. This campaign encourages anyone with concerns about their current or ex-partner to check whether they have a history of domestic abuse.
