This May a team of Ramsdens Solicitors’ elite are once again taking on the official Tour de Ramsdens in aid of Kirkwood Hospice.
On the 3rd May our team will be drawing inspiration from the official Tour de Yorkshire, which is taking place between 2 – 5 May,by taking on the 110 mile cycle route across our 15 offices, starting in Easingwold at 5am and finishing at the Ramsden Street office in Huddersfield later that evening.
Rhys Craddock, Solicitor, commented on what motivated him to set up this challenge: “Following on from the success of the maiden Tour de Ramsdens last year, we have decided to take to the saddle again to ride the gruelling 110 miles in aid of the Kirkwood Hospice. With Ramsdens originating in Huddersfield, we are well versed with the excellent and invaluable care the Kirkwood Hospice offer, working tirelessly with people with incurable conditions to give them the best opportunity to the best quality of life as possible. We hope to raise money to help their incredible work and expand people’s awareness of the Kirkwood Hospice across the region.”
Last year the team managed to complete the ride in 15 hours and raised a fantastic £1,160 for the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust, smashing their original target of £400!
