This September our staff are doing something spectacular for the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust!
On the 28th September our team of superheroes will be unleashing their masked alter ego’s as they take on the 120 mile cycle route across our 14 offices, starting in Easingwold at 5am and finishing at the Ramsden Street office in Huddersfield later that evening.
The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust are asking everyone to dedicate a day this September to join the fight against cancer in young people and to do something super to make this September Spectacular!
Rhys Craddock, Solicitor, commented on what motivated him to set up this challenge: “At Ramsdens we are inspired by the invaluable work that the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust do and are happy to help contribute towards their brilliant cause, as well as spreading the word in the region, in any way we can. This is why we set up Tour de Ramsdens. With our offices spanning around 120 miles we knew this would be a worthy challenge for a superhero cause.”
Helen Mervill, Fundraising Manager at the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust added: "We are dedicating this year's Spectacular September to the real life superheroes that we meet through the work of the charity. These heroes include our young patients who face the harshest of realities every day with courage, the researchers and medical teams that are investing in the future of all young cancer patients and hospital staff that do all they can to make days brighter for those they care for. Thankfully our work with all these people is made possible because of the other heroes we meet, those that take up challenges to raise awareness and much needed funds. We are extremely grateful to the Ramsdens team taking part in the Tour de Ramsdens this September and making a spectacular difference."
