It’s Volunteers Week and we wanted to thank our colleagues who have been doing lots to help and support their communities helping family, friends, and colleagues through volunteering and donating to charities during Covid-19.
Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering. Although the coronavirus pandemic has stopped many of the things we would usually do, you can still get involved in your area.
Th entire firm have been supporting the ‘Run 5 Donate 5 Nominate 5’ challenge raising money for NHS Charities Together.
We’ve had colleagues shave their heads for local hospices, colleagues fasting and raising money during Ramadan, volunteering as First Responders with the NHS, hosting online quizzes, donating food, planting flowers, making scrub wash bags and mask adaptors for NHS and care workers and creating lots of rainbows.
The creativity and generosity of everyone has been humbling #inthistogether and continues with lots more planned in the coming weeks.
